It’s one of the most recognizable symbols in the world. The US flag.

With so much historical significance and symbolism, it is rightly respected and revered by patriotic Americans to the point of reaching a truly inspirational status.

The 50 stars on the flag represent the 50 US states, while the 13 stripes represent the 13 British colonies that declared independence from Great Britain, and became the first states in the U.S.

The flag is also affectionately called the Stars and Stripes, Old Glory, and the Star-Spangled Banner.

So the flag has real meaning.

This is what inspired us here at States n Stripes to reimagine the US flag to build on this meaning and add the extra element of being able to individualize it and allow patriotic Americans to make it unique for them and allow them to show their support for their own state, by having it highlighted.
